Edinburgh Golf Inverness
Edinburgh, capital of Scotland, and during August the home of the festival, was unlucky enough to have us for four nights. A pleasant stay in Leith at the Malmaison, despite their ridiculous bar policy not to serve people with beards. Golf, on some of the finest courses in the world at Dunbar, Gleneagles, North Berwick and Royal Dornoch. Oh and also at Moray, not the place to play with a hangover, being as how it's at the end of the runway of RAF Losiemouth. Inverness and, pictured, Culloden House, the home of Bonnie Prince Charlie prior to the Scots getting well and truly stuffed at the famous battle. Coincidentally, our home prior to them losing again, this time in the Johnny Golfer.
